Illustration, titled “Predaceous Herbivore, Ghost Deer,” for Light Grey Art Lab’s show Guts, which opens tonight and runs April 17 - May 15th.The show features the work of 60 artists, inspired by exploration, education and evisceration by peeling back the skin on truths and imagined realities. This is an illustration of an albino deer in a bird nest, with a bird skeleton in a cutout section of her belly. It was inspired by the rare trait of albinism in some deer populations, and by the recent discovery of many deer supplementing their diets with birds.Prints available here for the duration of the show! -- source link
