quickdrawcollective:squarecarousel:Challenge 61: QDC ‘Future’ Collaboration: Future of Endangered Species-Rhino It’s both special and perfect for us to work together because we have so many similar ideas, interests, the themes we illustrate, the way we assemble our compositions….We were both really interested in focusing on the future of endangered species and the affect of humans on the environment. This led to the idea of humans “cutting out” animals, and we’ve been hearing a lot about the dwindling number of rhinos, poaching, etc. So here’s our sketch!We both created a finished illustration based off this sketch, and then we took the hands of one finished piece and the rhino of the other finished piece and combine those (and vice versa). So we have two collaborated images, as well as two images that we made separately (and would be more suitable for our portfolios). So, to clarify, one image will be hands drawn by me and the rhino by Julia, and the other image will be hands drawn by Julia and the rhino drawn by me. It is very amazing how well the two parts fit together as if it were from the same artist!
