My aunt sent me these pictures of a fabulous sleeved waistcoat that she saw at an exhibit in Glasgow. Please note the completely ingenious pocket flap, which is cut in one piece with the top part of the waistcoat so that the embroidery is uninterrupted by the seam that is usually there.There wasn’t any information accompanying this display, but it looks mid 18th century I think? -- source link
