possibility221:Dr. Eugene Hawes Appreciation PostI’ve liked Hawes from the moment he was introduced in episode 2x05 as the trash-talking, chess player-M.E. who said to Sherlock, “You think you can come in here with that weak stuff?” I’m very glad Hawes got a little story arc that culminated in the beautiful scenes with Sherlock being there as a friend and support. For me, those scenes were the best parts of episode 4x16.  I for one would be very sad if Dr. Hawes doesn’t return. It seems that actor Jordan Gelber is popular behind the scenes. Perhaps that contributed to Hawes getting a storyline. -- source link
