The perfect get away. That’s how I will call this trip. A small message about a sleep over turned into looking for cities, flights and hotels. I knew right when I came back that I needed to leave again. I told everyone how I felt and that I needed time to relax. I was thinking about when my last real vacation was. Also, because of everything that is coming my way, I won’t have time to do what I actually planned for July and August. Hello Santorini, how are you?Of all my friends, Jin is the one I see the least. She has a solid job five days a week. Lives on her own, 2,5 hours away from mine. Into fashion. Loves to travel. When we decide to hang out, we always sleep over so we have more time together. But this time I asked her: “Would you like to go to Copenhagen” - that was before I had my meetings and phone calls. She loved the idea and we already went looking for tickets. The next day I messaged her to tell her that my plan had to change cause the best advice was: “Take as much time and rest as you can cause you will be extremely busy soon”. I realized that everything is coming in two months from now and I am not ready for it. I asked her if she was able to take more days off. “Bali? Tokyo? New York?”. Do we really want to fly 10 hours again? Nah, let’s go to SantoriniSantorini. One of those islands of Greece. Yes. That island with the white houses. And don’t you dare to ask if it are those from the Kardashians. Anyway. We have no idea what we can do here. I think there is enough but I have no idea. I see it as the perfect place for inspiration. Currently we are at the pool which is great. And I just want to do nothing for a whole solid week. And when I say nothing, that means I’ll be working tomorrow already..I’m curious about Santorini so far it’s pretty much tourists, British to be exact.. Which is fine but I thought it actually would be more peaceful. It actually does remind me of Kreta. I think I want to do some boat trips if possible. Rent a bike. Drive around the island.
