shoku-and-awe:Some pictures from the chirimen crafts exhibit at the Tobacco & Salt Museum (much more interesting than it sounds, I promise). Chirimen is a traditional Japanese woven fabric with a crepe-like texture. Personal highlights: a bush warbler (I think?), a turtle of enormous girth (on his shell he holds the earth), a little boy or monk playing cat’s cradle, a pretty good katamari, a haunted bunny, a less haunted bunny. -- source link
