Basically she got sent down below because when her parents died she killed the villagers responsible in retaliation. Torn, bloodied, and giving zero fucks about making it out alive, she made it to the last man standing. The Monkey King who started it all. A dramatic 2-for shot with the monkey king ended in both their demise. Like you see in other characters in the show, she has her simpler look, and a full demon form. Which has the full body feathers, bird feet, longer beak-like nose, and talons. The real punishment for her acts is how the left half of her face is forever taunting her with the human face that was accepted by the village. As well as her wings being shattered, robbing her of the one joy she had from her bird-like side. To this day she walks hell hoping to find the Monkey King. If she can’t kill him again herself, she’s going to set him out during extermination and watch him get skewered. -- source link
