Charani is a Romani Fire Fairy, Terra is an Earth Fairy(but CRYSTALS not plants), Kajal is an Indian Air Fairy, Zoe is a black surfer girl Water Fairy, Aya is an Egyptian Heart Fairy, and Taliba is an Iranian Mind Fairy.Fairies grow literal wings after their powers manifest and are kind of considered freaky compared to witches, who are magic users who don’t grow wings. Specialists are. something idk they might be canceled because they’re a little useless. I went like, super modern with most of their transformations because i felt like it would be a cool contrast and be relatively easy to do as a live action action costume thing Basic story- no alternate dimension, more like mafia underworld but instead of crime they do magic. Charani manifests her powers and accidentally lights HERSELF on fire (not her parents because ??? also her parents are loving and not…. lowkey abusive) misunderstanding the situation, Charani is taken by child protective services. Who ever replaces Faragonda is super involved and keeping tabs on weird events/kids, intervenes and is like “i’ll take the poor child :)”, and enrolls her in Alfea. Charani is pissed and just wants to go back to her parents, but also doesn’t want to accidentally burn herself to death which is a common fate of fire fairies so she relents and decides to comply for the time being. Terra is kind of a bitch at first, but its not personal, she’s just super blunt and doesn’t take shit from anyone, she’s a little witchy and always has a few crystals and her tarot deck with her. Kajal is bouncy and energetic, and before attending Alfea was a social media influencer (primarily with makeup/fashion, short funny skits, and some music mixing). Zoe is a laid back, deeply intuitive surfer girl from Australia, she’s very lucky to have been so involved in water sports before her powers grew in as water fairies who aren’t, or even don’t know how to swim, will sometimes get caught up in the euphoria of subconsciously using their powers and end up drowning. (most fairy wings shouldn’t be in water for too long, they start to absorb water and wrinkle removing the ability to fly, water fairy wings are immune to this). Aya is from a wealthy family and as a Heart Fairy, has powers over emotion and some physicality, she tries very hard not to manipulate the people around her even tho it would be INCREDIBLY easy for her to and its something she constantly worries about. Taliba as a Mind fairy has powers over memory and knowledge,she does have ADHD inattentive type and even with her mind powers ironically forgets to take her meds fairly often, she’s super smart even with out her powers but can be a little arrogant. -- source link
