I facilitated an amazing body positive workshop at the camp Girls Rock Detroit today! It was such a great space and great discussion with brilliant campers who were 8 to 13 years old. Itty was the best side kick today and was so great while we talked about body ideals, where they come from and how to combat them on a daily basis. I had the campers create a “self esteem portrait” that they were still working on at the end of the session but I made sure to bring my own as an example.Our long day ended with a bath for me and some puppy snuggles on the couch.
