10-at-5:socialistexan:This is how much I’ve paid since the middle of July of this year, not including anything I’ve had to pay out of pocket (tack on another $300 or so), medications and prescribed supplements (~$150), or the premiums I pay just to have the “privilege” of having insurance ($935). All in all, in the past 2 and half months I’ve had to pay ~$2450 for healthcare. I made $5200, so nearly half my income goes to medical bills and insurance. But, sure that 4% income taz Bernie proposed that I would be paying instead of that $2.5k is just so burdensome. And I’m someone with that employer-provided insurance that neolibs like Joe Biden and Amy Klobauchar tell me I love so much. Because in America paying $2.5k is freedom and $210 is tyranny. My 2 inhalers a month cost me $2134.65. And I have insurance. This is a drug I will likely be on for the rest of life. Wheeeeeeeeeeee. Murcia! -- source link
