truebluemeanyou: I’m always looking for DIYs for my “Manly Gifts” tag. I love the look of this bracelet for anyone. The magnetic closure is cool and so is the red wrapped suede.jegssantos:SUEDE WRAPPED BRACELETHallo! Before anything else, doesn’t my project name sound delicious? Well, for me it does! Haha We all love bracelets/bangles right? Especially the coveted Hermes cuffs, right? Today I’ll show you how to make this super simple elegant bracelet. It was inspired by Hermes’ cuffs, but I decided to put my own personal touch to my inspiration by wrapping a striking colored suede lace to one-half of the bracelet. It’s very easy to make! I’ve put the direct links to the exact products I used for this project. MATERIALS:Leather Cord | Suede Lace | Magnetic Closure | Cutter | E600STEPS:1. First, you’ll need to cut the leather cord according to your wrist size. Make sure that you have an allowance to insert in the magnetic closure.2. Apply glue around the end of the leather cord and insert it inside the magnetic closure. I glued the suede lace with the other end of the cord before applying glue around it and inserting it inside the closure. 3. Now, wrap the suede around the leather cord until you reach the end of the suede lace. 4. Cut the excess lace to your desired length. Apply glue to the back of the suede lace and stick it onto the cord.Voila! Yet another bracelet to add to your arm party. Woohoo! I just love how simple and elegant this bracelet turned out to be. It can be worn casually and even in semi-formal events. If those closures were pearls….Hello CHANEL! Hahaha This bracelet can be customized to your heart’s content. Add studs, gem stones, colorful threads, different colored suede and much more! Embellish it to your own liking! Let your imagination free! I hope you guys loved this DIY as much as I did. That’s all for now. Doei! -- source link
