As I was walking to the GP for a routine test this morning, while battling the wind and rain, I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be lovely to pick some of the flowering plants I encountered on the way, to draw them and press to celebrate today, which is my birthday (and husband’s too). I am thinking of doing the same thing on the 15th of every month throughout the year, just for fun, memory keeping and continuing to practice drawing and painting. In the top left corner is a little birthday present to myself, a skein of @thefibrecompany canopy I am going to use in a colourwork sweater for myself. In the bottom left corner - a little dishcloth I knitted during our knit night, prompted by Amber @yarnhoarder in her recent Instagram post. I am going to make another one during our next knit night!
