My fiancé was leaving for the army and he brought up the idea of leaving me with a kitten to lighten the gloomy days. So I dragged him down to the Golden Valley Humane Society and we found our little baby boy. “Jacob” was 1.2 lbs and 2 months old. He’d been in the cage for 30 minutes and there had already been a couple looking at him. We put him on hold as I grew too attached to his cuddly nature as soon as we picked him up! My fiancé and I adopted our little gray fluff ball and I’ve never been happier. Leo has helped me through so many of the struggles being with a military man brings I can’t begin to describe how many days this cat has known I’m down and comes to cuddle up by my chest and neck.He loves my dog and other female kitty Daisey. Leo is flourishing now he loves playing with sweatshirt strings, bottle caps, cat nip mice, and hair binders. This kitten has made my life so much happier and he’s the first cat I’ve had that’s attached onto me (not my mom). I’ve never had a cat so cuddly and social either. He really is my miracle baby and I’d like to thank the people volunteering that talked my fiancé and I into putting him on hold and supporting us through the adoption!- Brittany -- source link
