destinyrush:nevaehtyler:Sikhs have been serving in the U.S. military since World War I, but they were prohibited to wear their traditional turban and beard in the 1980’s. However, Captain Simratpal Singh changed that by winning the right to wear a black or camouflage turban and grow his facial hair.
