commission painting 2019, acrylic on canvas, 72″x36″.Inspired by the famous blotter art of Albert Hoffman on his bicycle. The seven colors in the rainbow and the black and white on the character are what I used to fill in the rest of the pattern, making it a 9-color halftone. I upped this to 10 colors by using off-white for the entire thing except for the actual sun where I snuck in pure white to make it even brighter.Thanks Ed! -- source link
