transpeter:okay so john oliver from “last week tonight with john oliver” did a segment discussing the toxic and extremely homophobic ideals (like support for conversion therapy) that mike pence holds, and at the end of his segment he said that the only likable thing about mike pence is his pet bunny named “marlon bundo” and john then talked about how the pence family is publishing a children’s book about marlon bundo, and how that upsets him bc he doesn’t want marlon bundo to get a bad reputation. so john oliver decided to combat pence’s book by making his own children’s book about marlon bundo falling in love with a boy bunny.the book is written by jill twiss in association with last week tonight, it’s available in print, as an E-book, and as an audible with the voices of jim parsons, jesse tyler ferguson, jeff garlin, ellie kemper, john lithgow, jack mcbrayer, and rupaul. and it actually is a sweet and innocent children’s book with a very nice story and one hundred percent of the proceeds go to the trevor project and aids united!! i recommend buying it for a charming and inclusive story for children and for yourself, to help donate to the trevor project and aids united, or just as a general ‘fuck you’ to mike pence!!!
