Throwback: 2013I started playing Guild Wars 2 in 2013, a year after I bought the game for my boyfriend. I knew nothing about builds, and all I had for skins was whatever greens and yellows that dropped along my way. We finished Zhaitan after 4 hours, lol. We took hours on dungeons where we never read guides. My friends just tried to figure it out on their own, and I followed along (usually dying…). Four years later, and here we are. :) I finished my first and only legendary weapon last year, together with my boyfriend. As I grow older, there’s less time to ‘farm’ for things, especially when life and career needs to take priority. Friends have dropped off too, which is always sad. Still, I’m lucky to have some time to get in and out of the game. GW2 is definitely one of the most casual-friendly (a.k.a. adulting-friendly) games out there. With Path of Fire, my boyfriend and I are taking it slow while we finish accomplishments alongside the story journal.
