1900’s Lookbook Part 2The Edwardian era took place from the late 1890’s to 1914, or the beginning of the Great War (World War I). Also called La Belle Epoque (the Beautiful Era), and/or the Gilded Age, this was a time when women’s fashions took on a new opulence and extravagance, inspired by the hedonistic lifestyle of Britain’s King Edward VII.  These particular looks focus on clothing popular from 1900-1910, which along with being a decade, was the length of King Edward VII’s reign.
