From Sketch to Final pt13: Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team comic book cover. Nearly broke out in cold sweats handing these sketches in - an IP like this kind of needs something extra for a variant cover, or at least a clever take, that I didn’t feel I delivered. Since it was for issue #1 and lead times can be long for comics, I didn’t get any pages, art or script to go on except the synopsis, so I kept it general with punchy colours to go with the game’s signature yellow. Dark Horse and CD Project Red loved it, as did the fans - it sold out in a heartbeat.
