Page 04.—-Two Armenians Deported From Niagara Falls.—-After Refusing Them Admission to Canada Officer Carter Met the Men on the Street - A Sharp Trick to Gain Entrance - Last Month’s Record—-(Special Despatch to The Globe.)Niagara Falls, Dec. 18. - Immigration Officer Carter to-day recognized two Armenians he met on the street as the men he had refused to allow to enter Canada yesterday. He arrested them. The men had secured the return portions of tickets to St. Catharines and entered the Dominion by showing the tickets, claiming that city as their home. They were deported.Last month one hundred and seventy-three people were refused admission to Canada at this point, the smallest number for any month this year. -- source link
