Tend The Earth. The difference between naturists and nudists (besides region and terms) is that naturism takes on an ethical and moral approach that focuses on our role in nature.Nudity is central to naturism. Taking off clothes to reduce laundry and all the waste that ensues is all well and good, but naturists take it a step further by doing everything to reduce theirs and others carbon footprints. Just helping people find nudism is a big step. What’s the point of working to save nature if we can’t appreciate and remember what it is that we’re saving? That’s why naturism stresses getting in touch with nature through nudism. It could be as simple as strolling through the backyard. Camping, hiking, canoeing, trail running, boating, rock climbing, and all other types of outdoor sports are encouraged and done by naturists. The world is filled with possibilities and activity. We are lucky to be here and able to enjoy it, but that comes with responsibility. A responsibility not to shuck the fact that we came from nature, that we are a part of it, and that we are connected to it in ways science can’t fully measure. We have the ability to tend and care for the Earth. We were designed to so why shouldn’t we? Nudity is the first step. It is core and essential to naturism. Will you take the second step?
