In my latest article for Book Riot, I talk to DC Books to Prisons, the Prison Book Project in Florida, and Chicago Books to Women in Prison, as well as three scholars of the subject, to not only break down the challenges of getting books into prisons, but to present their forward-thinking perspectives on how we could make prison libraries and resources fundamentally better for those inside.
