Stele of the Akkadian king Naram-Sin, who reigned from 2261-24 BC. It was found in the village of Pir Hüseyin, in south-eastern Turkey.Naram-Sin was the fourth king of the Akkadian Empire, and second onlyto his grandfather, Sargon the Great. This stele shows the bordersof the empire during his reign. Naram-Sin called himself the “Kingwho brought peace to four regions,” i.e. the four cardinaldirections. During his reign, he expanded the empire’s borders,increased trade, and may have personally campaigned with his army asfar as Egypt. -- source link
