I want to tell you the story behind these guys as you may have seen a few illustrations of them already it’s about a girl who finds herself trapped in the world of cats, and for whatever reason, they seem to have either not notice that she’s different, or they just don’t care. And so she keeps on living among them. The beginnings of these illustrations were inspired by the book IQ84 by Haruki Murakami. But as I drew more of the girl and the cats I became attached to them and their world seems to expand When I was younger, I sometimes felt so different to people around me, in the way I think or the values that I held. Often I used to imagine that I was an alien in disguise. but I learnt that a lot of people have felt the same at some point in their lives.
