Man and wife,living in cellar of their former home, which is in complete ruins.They were in Lens for 30 months during the German occupation, andwere repatriated thru Switzerland and by way of Evian, in January of1917. The wife remained in southern France some months afterrepatriation. They have now been three weeks in Lens, and plan tokeep their present quarters in the cellar for an indefinite period oftime.” -- source link
