brickme:artbooksnat:Character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, who brought to life so much of what we love about Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam) contributed this guest illustration and comment featuring his take on Cowboy Bebop’s Faye Valentine in Toshihiro Kawamoto’s art book, The Illusives.Reblogging not because I’ve ever seen an episode of Gundam or Cowboy Beebop (well I guess I did watch a few episodes of Gundam Wing back in the day because all the cool people were into 2x1), but because the bottom left drawing says “Kaze to ki no uta”.I don’t know if you’re aware (if you are please ignore me) but Yoshikazu Yasuhiko directed/story-boarded the OVA adaption of Kaze to Ki no Uta. Toshihiro Kawamoto was the assistant animation director on it which I guess explains the reference!Animedia released a book compiling Yas’ ekonte for the OVA which I am dying to own but usually commands ludicrous prices… -- source link
