The AG m/42,The AG m/42 or AG 42 was a semi-automatic rifle that served limited use with Sweden in the 1940’s and 50’s. Chambered in 6.5x55mm it was fed from a ten round box magazine and used a direct impingement gas system. While the magazine was removable, it was made to be load from the top with five round stripper clips. The AG 42 remained in service until it was replaced with the AK 4 )a Swedish version of the G3). The design would be sold to Egypt and become the basis for the Hakim Rifle. -- source link
