juliedillon:More dwarves :B Just Thorin and Dwalin this time, though. I wanted to try something where the main shapes were simplified and stylized (inspired by bridgioto’s Secret of Kells styled dwarves), but I wanted to try rendering within the stylized shapes to an extent. Simplifying the shapes while maintaining the general feel of the characters was really reeeeeally hard for me. I had to really fight with myself to not break up some of those big outlined curves, gah. I dunno. Fun experiment, anyway. :) edit: I probably won’t do many more. maaaaaaybe a Gandalf.
