Here we are; Rocky and I on the road again heading back to LA. We’ve had some major loss in this past month, and we’ve needed each other more than ever. Our drive was incredibly peaceful, I drove a different route than usual; one I had never encountered before. So incredibly scenic, beautiful & enlightening. He often wants to settle into my lap while I’m driving so this is quite typical of my little goofball. I am sure he hysterically fell asleep in this manner because he was in a chicken nugget coma; a usual ritual that the pups and I partake in before we start driving on long road trips. He was asleep on my lap like this for about 20/25 minutes. He makes me smile, what a funny boy!
