SUBLIME CINEMA #529 - SAMSON & DELILAHThis movie was a complete surprise; I was transported to a place that is completely alien to me and provided me with the empathy for its characters to feel like I now know a little bit more about the world and a people. First film I’ve seen by and featuring Aboriginal Aussies, and it’s wonderful (and really deserves the Criterion treatment) - it’s a sweet love story, but against the backdrop of a harsh reality. -- source link
