I adore tarot symbolism, and to see it featured in a mind-games conversation between Edgeworth and Kristoph about Phoenix is just… all I’m left with is incoherent screaming. I adore all of this. ALL OF IT. The tarot symbolism (The fool, the devil, the lovers; Miles holding the sword and later pierced by three swords), the other symbolism (Miles’s eyes being blue for the kiss, Miles as a statue, the letters, the flowers, the sunflower, the chains, the red string…).
