Inktober Day #25 is Wanda Maximoff (aka the Scarlet Witch) from the X-Men Evolution. I loved the X-Men Evolution design of the Scarlet Witch though I remember when I first saw her debut episode (“Hex Factor”) as a kid, I thought she was Rogue because of her hairstyle before she cut it haha. Wanda definitely had my second favorite super-power of Probability Manipulation right behind Jean Grey’s Telekinesis power and it was always fun seeing her use her abilities on screen. Even though she was portrayed as a girl with serious daddy issues, it’s not hard to understand why considering what her father (Magneto) did to her in this series, that would scar anyone. While she was mostly angry and angsty, she still had her moments of compassion such as when she let an emotional Kurt (Nightcrawler) take the statue of Mystique (his mother) to see if he could revert her back to normal (even though she was a mega bitch in this series lol) and she didn’t outright attack people unless they attacked her so that was nice. It’s too bad that we didn’t see Wanda interact with Rogue because I seriously believe they would’ve gotten along together. What is with these cartoons that have these Darkly-inclined characters yet don’t let them interact together? Anyway, I had a lot of fun drawing Wanda, I’ve been wanting to draw her for years and this was as good a time as any to finally get around to it. :)—————————————————————————————————-Scarlet Witch / Wanda Maximoff © X-Men SeriesArtwork © Myself ~Ratchetjak -- source link
