Twin Stones (March 16, 2021).ORIGINAL: $45 2.5”x3.5” watercolor on cold press paper, floated in 5”x7” mat..Stones of Story and Myth (5 of ?).Atop the slopes above Sheering Bay sit the Twin Stones. Named so for the twin fae warrior princes who protected the small, sea-faring kingdom of Feelen Cay, the stones are tributes to their dedication and bravery. In the face of a midnight attack upon their kingdom, the two brothers stood their ground against an overwhelming force of raiding fae from the Sounding Deeps. Though they saved their beloved kingdom from attacks both physical and magical, and managed to push back the attacking ships, the brothers’ magics were worn to the point of Fading, and died by the break of dawn. The Wilder honored their sacrifice by enchanting the Twin Stones to stand watch from that day forward.
