Crowded Stones (March 24,2021).Stones of Story and Myth (13 of ?).ORIGINAL: $45 2.5”x3.5” watercolor on cold press paper, floated in 5”x7” mat..Deep into the Lighterfae kingdom of Caer Faellis, are the Plains of Dargo, Dragon territory gifted to the fae by the Great Conclave. Greater Green Dragons once nested on the plains by the hundreds, threatened every hatching season by poachers and hunters hoping to claim dragon scales while the dragons were most vulnerable. By decree of Queen Gaelin, this nesting site was ordered protected, and warrior sentries stood guard during every nesting cycle. When the clans of Greater Green Dragons migrated, they gifted the land to the Lighterfae, the circle of stones marking the site.
