The musical bed of the Nawab of Bahawalpur(native governor in colonial British India), Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi IV. The 4 figures were moving automata, a pressure-activated music box was under the mattress. In 1882 Abbasi anonymously commissioned a bed in rosewood covered with about a third of a ton of chased and engraved sterling silver from La Maison Christofle in Paris.
