This is fucked. I specifically remember him saying “Sometimes I wake up, and I wish you were dead.”Not saying, actually, yelling. And didn’t he punch the wall? Oh no. They even weaponized the child. There was no point in the movie that I thought the happy ending was them staying together. Calling something complex and elevated when it’s actually just a shitty situation is not the woke take past generations think it is. There’s no point in staying with someone whose goal is to hurt you and ‘win’ arguments.
