Again it’s a scene that’s just that much more powerful with these silly little faces lightning it up. Can we talk about Rydia for a second here, and the way that she’s the one comforting Cecil about this - that look of understanding on her face is just - and it’s even more poignant when you remember what happened to her mother, her own “only living family”, during all of this; you wonder whether she’s thinking of her mother and her family when she says this to Cecil. It really shows that Rydia has fully forgiven Cecil and understands what’s at stake here; she doesn’t want him to lose what she has lost. It’s a ridiculously powerful little scene. -- source link
