2 of 13 armoured cars given by the British government to the National Army during the Irish Civil War. They were built on a Rolls-Royce chassis, and were armed with a .303 Vickers machine gun. The Fighting 2nd still shows 1043 CK, its British registration. Like the rest of these cars, it was later given an ARR (Armoured Rolls-Royce) no. by the National Army, in this case ARR3, while The Big Fella was designated ARR8. -- source link
