Also, how dare you dunk on Edward Cope’s greatest mistake with that elasmosaurus one. Other than that, these are fantastic and I love them Thinking about how similar Elasmosaurus and Mosasaurus were in the 1900s, it would be interesting to treat different periods’ conceptions of (not-)dinosaurs as separate species in their own right, and work out some fantasy phylogeny between them all. -- source link
