This guy seems somewhat older than the V from the metro, although that may not mean anything. He’s wearing the same style of jacket though, and where V’s jacket has “Samurai” written on its back, this dude has a samurai-style hairdo. If this isn’t V, they’re certainly brothers in arms. //edit: actually, it’s not V. The crisp image above is from cyberpunk.net and called “ready-to-get-back-to-the-big-leagues-en.jpg - this dude and V would then be accomplices of some sort, with V getting his first big shot and this dude looking to get back into the game. Also, it makes no sense to change V again for the railgun/car scene … Also note that he has a gold cross earring as well as a complicated tattoo crowned by a cross (as well as possibly a madonna shirt, can’t quite read the writing). This may be important or pure aesthetics; it’s not like our “Samurai” can be expected to conform to bushido either, after all. //edit: V from the railgun/car scene does not have the tattoo. Seems to be a personal thing rather than gang insignia. This is only a trailer of course, but I can’t but wonder what made him turn his head …Oh, and some great godrays in the background. Not that “rendered in the game engine” is the same as “in-game graphics”, but still.//edit: Jackie Welles is the name. Thanks, nepi-une! -- source link
