Once upon a time in Mumbaai AGAIN?: Agar sequel hit hoyi toh prequel boora maan jaayegi….. Starting off I’m not a huge fan of sequels because there are very few that can actually pull off being better than the original…however, when you do get a sequel to a movie you usually go in expecting what it's predecessor offered, however, the makers of this film chose to decipher from the original completely. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, and Imraan Khan. While Sonakshi portrayed her character beautifully, Imraan Khan seemed a bit of a misfit playing a gangster, as his boy next door looks couldn’t pull off the menacing choices a gangster working for Shoib could make..Akshay Kumar was the high point of the film, as I still think that the character of shoibb was perfectly played by Emraan Hashmi in the prequel, however, Akhsay Kumar dialogue delivery and acting took the character of shoib khan into a completely different realm.   The soundtrack wasn’t well suited to the film there were a few good tracks such as tune kya kya, but they all stood out like sore thumbs. The plot was the weakest point as the screenplay was all over the place.  The dialogues were cheesy and didn’t have the same impact the prequel had.   Overall, this movie was a romance film, it is worth a watch for Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of the protagonist, other than that everything else in the film wasn’t worth it.   Miss: 4/10 -- source link
