Imagine having a bookshelf as your headboard. Yes please! This #woolfwednesday is brought to you straight from Virginia Woolf’s bedroom at Monk’s House, the 16th-century country retreat owned by Virginia and her husband Leonard. In case you are wondering, yes, that is a single bed. Virginia and her husband had separate bedrooms. She also had her own writing den at the back of the yard. She meant it when she wrote A Room of One’s Own. Have you ever visited Monk’s House in East Sussex. I read on their website that it is currently closed due to Covid-19. However, once it opens up again, I highly recommend a visit. It’s a magical place! . . . . . #virginiawoolf #aroomofonesown #bookshelfie #monkshouse @monkshousent (at Monk’s House) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBi4gDbH0op/?igshid=1blwi25o38vwx -- source link
