westsemiteblues:I found this a while back, and thought today would be a good day to post it. The people in the photo are a Romani family in Holland in 1944. The little girl in the center is Marion Kaufmann, a Jewish child they kept in hiding for a month, until she could be moved again.I don’t know anything about them beyond this. I don’t know how they themselves were managing to stay free and alive, and I don’t know their names, or if they survived the war. The child they sheltered, undoubtedly at great risk, did. They deserve great honor as righteous people among the nations. -- source link
