The last time something like this occurred, it was under President Nixon, and we all know what happened there. The GOP has demonstrated that they’re too preoccupied with the interests of the rich and privileged to do so on their own. We must demand that they speak out against Trump’s fascist behavior. (It’s important to contact your Democratic representatives, too, if only to ask how they’re voting.)The best option is to call your congresspersons’ offices, but email and fax or also valid options! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. What’s most important is that we reach out and make ourselves heard by any means possible.
