Found this very good AMD processor architecture meme buried in my edits folder. Sadly it’s out of date now, they vastly simplified the infinity link architecture in the most recent server CPU’s, although they’re still ridiculously complicated from an interconnect standpoint compared to a single-chip design.Infinity Link also sounds like a made up technology by an evil corporation in a Dreamworks movie. -- source link
