I could have spent hours reading and walking through the gardens of the Royal Alcázar of Seville. The Alcázar itself was beautiful, stunning—golden intricate mosaic ceilings and wide courtyards—but its gardens were a treasure. They were fragrant, of orange blossom, rosemary, and other herbs and flowers. Giant knotted trees out of fairy tales, bubbling fountains, hidden clearings, draping lavender wisteria, tiled benches. I would spend weeks for Seville if I could, and spend every other day in the gardens devouring book after book and letting the sun sink into my shoulders. -- source link
