I’m not sure if he’s settled somewhere - the first time I found him at Thicket Excavations, east of Sanctuary. The second time he was just wandering past Red Rocket Truck Stop with a new dog. I hope he has an endless supply of puppies and I can just hoard them.Gene is a random encounter, and the more luck u have the more likely u are to run into him apparently. As far as I’m aware he has an endless supply of dogs, and the dogs fine a nice bonus to happiness to whichever settlement you end up sending them to -- source link
