I feel that i may have took a bit longer on a refined sketch more than usual for 2 reasons. 1 is that i think it may be the longest refined sketch just by content/size. 2, i unintentionally did more blending than i was supposed to x) nonetheless, it was just as fun as usual! as mentioned from the WIP i tried multiple experiments to make selections easier but i feel they may have not been necessary when it came to refined sketches because i reverted back into doing what i normally did which was faster. however i think the experiments may be more fruitful if i did a full rendered piece.The most fun of it was just making the facial expression of both mavis and frank! the contours were especially really fun to do on frank and after watching just some bits of Hotel Transylvania, they have quite expressive animation. a little jumpy for my taste for it felt like every single character moved the same way but that’s me nitpicking. anyway, this isn’t a movie review lol, just wanted to draw the characters and hope you guys like! -- source link
