My top ten from the Golden Globes afterparties. Everyone in the top five basically deserves the top
My top ten from the Golden Globes afterparties. Everyone in the top five basically deserves the top spot, though; it seemed people either went with “high fashion” or “classic sexy/perfect fit.”Rowan Blanchard in Marc Jacobs - Yes, it kind of looks like a shower pouf, but it’s perfect for her style and she accessorized perfectly.Gemma Chan in Miu Miu - Also perfect for her style, and a great color on her.Larsen Thompson in Tommy Hilfiger - Like a real-life, less-cartoonish Jessica Rabbit. Fitted to perfection.Skyler Samuels in Jaime Major - Anyone remember her in Scream Queens? I loved (season one) of that show. Anyhow, I normally don’t like naked dresses, but this one has really nice/interesting embroidery and the color scheme works well with her skin tone.Adria Arjona - Simple perfection. The thin sparkly choker and open back are the perfect touches of “oomph.”Elizabeth Reaser - Another example of simple, stark beauty. You just can’t go wrong with red.Kiki Layne in Valentino - High fashion and fun, and it doesn’t need a lot by way of accessories.Ashley Madekwe in Monique Lhuillier - More Studio 54 vibes. Also, Monique Lhuillier had a really great showing of dresses at this ceremony.Emmy Rossum in J. Mendel - As usual, Emmy knocks it out of the park. The purple-y lip is an unexpected but welcome touch.Storm Reid in Ermanno Scervino - I love the head styling and how well it correlates with the dress. I wouldn’t have gone with white strappy heels but you can hardly see them anyway, so whatever. -- source link
