A Seditious Affair by KJ CharlesArguably the best of the Society of Gentlemen series, this is the third installment, and second novel. The cover is misleading, because it doesn’t portray the main characters. Silas is 40, and Dom is in his late 30′s. These two are like night and day, at least on the surface. One is a dominant radical that hates the control other men have over his fellow Englishman, the other is part of the controlling elite, but needs to submit behind closed doors (something that cost him his former love and best friend). When the novel begins, they’ve already been meeting secretly for months, but how they met will be revealed in the novel. Expect good wine, a varied dose of BDSM, and conversations about Blake, Shelley, and British politics of the Regency era. Also, two of the side characters are elaborated on more than before, and we get healthy acceptance of a trans character. Despite the framework of their initial involvement, this is not PWP, at all. @wssh-watson @love-in-mind-palace @ghislainem70 @depth-of-loyalty-and-love @may-shepard @very-grumpy-bisexual @chinike @depth-of-loyalty-and-love @alimide @fearieshadow @crazy-tea-lady -- source link
